ESM Apps インストール
ここまでで ESM Apps をインストールする準備ができました。
ESM Apps をインストールしていきます。
さくら VPS のシリアルコンソ－ルから Terminal を開き、
Free Personal Token をサーバに登録します。
$ sudo pro attach {取得した Free Personal Token}
Free Personal Token = 半角英数字30桁
yamada@********:~$ sudo pro attach ****************************** [sudo] yamada のパスワード: Enabling Ubuntu Pro: ESM Apps Ubuntu Pro: ESM Apps enabled Enabling Ubuntu Pro: ESM Infra Ubuntu Pro: ESM Infra enabled Enabling Livepatch Failed to enable default services, check: sudo pro status
必要に応じて ubuntu-advantage-tools をインストールします。
私の場合は必要ありませんでした。
yamada@********:~$ sudo apt install ubuntu-advantage-tools
次に apt で更新をかけます。
yamada@********:~$ sudo apt update
yamada@********:~$ sudo apt upgrade
ubuntu の再起動をします。
yamada@********:~$ sudo shutdown -r now
これでインストールは完了です。
ESM Apps インストール
再度、ログインして ESM Apps が上手く適用されたか確認します。
yamada@********:~$ pro --version
34~22.04

esm-apps と esm-infra が使えるようになりました。
残りのサービスは有償のようで有効化できていません。
しかし使ってみると livepatch は実行できているようです。
